Kokum
कोकम
Pressed from the seed of Garcinia indica, grown along the Konkan coast. High in stearic acid, which is why it sets hard and why it holds on cracked skin instead of vanishing.

We would rather make two products we can explain in full than eight we can only describe. Both are made in India, to formulas we have argued about at length.
Balm · 3.5 oz / 100 g
For heels that split and elbows that stay rough no matter what lotion you use. A solid balm, not a lotion, because what actually works on cracked skin is an occlusive butter rather than a bottle of water with an emulsifier in it.

Scrub · 8.8 oz / 250 g
Coarse ground Indian arabica and salt, in an oil base that emulsifies when it meets water. Which is a technical way of saying it rinses off, instead of leaving a slick down the side of the bath and a brown mark on your towel.

कोकम

कॉफ़ी
Shade grown under pepper and cardamom above Coorg and Chikmagalur. We are not claiming anybody’s grandmother scrubbed with coffee. But if you know the smell out of a steel tumbler at seven in the morning, you know what this is.
चावल की भूसी
The light, stable oil that carries the butter and thins it enough to spread. Slower to turn than most plant oils, which is why the balm keeps.
Small first run, launching on Amazon US. The list hears first.
